So there will be some changes at my children's elementary school that I am not happy about because A) it is the middle of the school year! and B) this will be the 4th principal change since we moved here 5 years ago(that is a lot)!! I am sure that it was a sudden thing and everything is happening fast....we got the letter Wednesday and the new principal starts to take over on Feb. 3rd, and it will be a completed process by the 8th!!!! I was really liking this principal and I am so sad to see her leave the school after such a short time! It was made real for me as I was there this morning and saw the boxes being packed up in the principals office! I have chosen to embrace this change and keep it positive for my children as the transition begins....but I still feel strongly that these changes could have waited until the beginning of the next school year! I guess things happen for reasons that we don't know so I must just go with it even if I don't want to! LOL! If I don't look at this positively then I will not have good feelings towards the new principal and that would not be fair to her!
