So, last Thursday, May 12, 2011 my mom and I were coming home from seeing our precious Tyler and were in a rear end accident. Here is exactly what happened at 285 E., Sego Lily: car in front of us stopped for a teen in a cross walk so my mom stopped, truck behind us did not stop and ran into the back of my moms car(we were COMPLETELY stopped) then my moms car bumped the one in front of us! No one was injured. My moms car was badly damaged in the rear and the car in front of us had no damage except maybe a small scratch. The boy crossing the street and a girl walking down the street were witnesses and stated exactly what I have said here to police and the officer took pictures. The man driving the truck received a ticket and the report was finished we left! Mom took car to repair shop on Tuesday morning and was told there is a lot of damage and they would see if the insurance would fix it or not since it is a 1999 vehicle. Also on Tuesday my mom got a call from her insurance company asking what was up since the lady in the first car filed a claim stating that my mom hit her before the guy hit us! What? So my mom gave a recorded statement of all that happened and I expected a call from said insurance company, but never got one.
Fast forward to today: my mom just called me and said that the insurance companies(my moms and the truck drivers) are investigating because this woman claims we hit her twice, the first time my mom just hit her and then when the guy hit us we hit her again and on top of that she is hurt now! This woman made claims with my moms insurance and the truck drivers insurance. Um really? Does she think she can get away with this fraud!? I really do not like liars! This is causing a delay in the whole process! And I have to say, Karma is a b----! I believe she will reap what she sows!
