Today is...

sad and gloomy, when it should be happy and sunny because it is Megan's 12th birthday! This weather is really getting me down. I am trying really hard to cheer up. Maybe baking a birthday cake and taking Megan lunch from Cafe Rio will help, it should right!?

Emily drove herself to school today. This is something I need to get used to and I think we need another car. After talking to some parents of other 16 year olds I am feeling pretty blessed and lucky to have Em as my 16 year old daughter!

I can't believe that this school year is almost over! I always get sad at the end of a school year especially when we have loved teachers so much and to see how much they have learned! I guess it is hard for me to watch my babies grow up. Ryan is having a hard time right now with school. I think it has to do with the fact that his teachers last day is tomorrow as she goes on maternity leave. He is really moody after school, he would not admit this to me but I know he is sad to finish the year with a sub., he is really going to miss Mrs. B! I am very sad she is leaving too. Best 2nd grade teacher ever!

Just realized I don't update on the hubby too much! OOPS! Anyway things are good...could be better. He has had to change jobs and so far not much work and little money but we are coping. We just celebrated 20 years of marriage! It is hard to believe we have been married that long and have a kid that old, who now has a baby of his own! Where has all the time gone? Looks like Tony is headed to California in a few days for another job there. Lets hope this one is shorter than 24 day.
